picoTera is developing advanced noise cancellation, communication, and hearing protection systems.
We are looking for a talented electrical and computer engineers that can help us develop and debug new products.
Prospecting applicants should have a solid background in electronic circuits theory and have hands-on skills on work with oscilloscopes, function generators, and other lab tools.
Another key skill that we are looking for is soldering skills and the ability to debug common hardware issues. That can be as easy as re-soldering the broken switch and coming up with a better design for future releases, and as complex as finding the faulty IC in a malfunctioned hardware. We expect that the applicants are very familiar with the soldering skills needed for SMD components.
Yet another key skill that we are interested in is familiarity with Altium PCB design software. We expect applicant to know how to start from schematic and sync the project to PCB and create a DRC-free PCB board. Concepts such as library, library components, and error-free project compile should not be foreign to applicants for this post.
Job requirements and qualifications:
- Experience working with hardware and electronics
- Familiar with PCB Design and working with Altium Designer
- Background experience with soldering and working with oscilloscopes
- Background knowledge on firmware programming
- Teamwork and excellent work ethics
- Work on site (in our office)
